Book Binding
A printing practice can be linked to bookmaking. They exist in the same space; they hold information and can be mass-produced. In spring 2025, I explored its capabilities.

Wait, hold on — what is a book?
Are postcards also considered to be books?
This project thrives on the juxtaposition of contemporary fire extinguishers and the obscure aesthetics of abstract typography, blending self-expression with visual enigma. Central to the concept is the reinterpretation of postcards. It is not merely seen as sentimental relics or tourist tokens, but as deliberate carriers of fragmented information that have to be shared. This collection of postcards is delicate and fragile. To protect their nature, these postcards are carefully housed in a strap case wrapped in animal print fabric. This is not only fire, but also a tactile experience. This protective case adds a sense of ritual to the interaction, reinforcing the project‘ s commentary on preserving communication.
